Position Overview:
The Executive, Accounts, plays a vital role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This position is crucial for the effective financial management of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain complete and accurate financial records for the organization, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and financial statements.
- Invoice Processing: Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve any discrepancies.
- Expense Management: Monitor and manage expenses to ensure compliance with the organization’s financial policies and budget.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in processing payroll, including calculating and processing salaries, deductions, and taxes.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Stay updated on changes in accounting rules and regulations.
- Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of documents and schedules for internal and external audits. Work closely with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
- Budgeting: Collaborate in the budgeting process by providing financial data and insights to assist in setting financial targets.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve any financial disputes or discrepancies.

- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software and tools to perform tasks efficiently and maintain financial records accurately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA or ACCA) is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Experience:
